Background & Engineering Philosophy
I join early and stay until the systems hold: taking an architecture from zero to production. Sometimes that means redesigning a core operational workflow alongside the people who run it every day. Sometimes it means writing the first version of the platform with a small founding engineering team and staying in the code through launch, when real customer traffic reveals what actually works and what needs to be rethought.
I started programming at age 14, building 3D game engines from scratch to understand how rendering, memory, and physics fit together. At 18, I wrote C++ flight control software for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at Hydra Technologies, followed by software engineering roles at Microsoft and HP Labs.
