MCP Servers, CLI & SDKs: MCPWire, Folio & Panas

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, or custom AI agents to Carlos Rivera’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and CLI tools via Streamable HTTP (/.well-known/mcp) or @mcpwire/cli.

1. Live Site MCP Server (/.well-known/mcp)

Our first-party MCP server endpoint at https://carlosrivera.im/.well-known/mcp exposes an MCP discovery manifest over GET and implements the Streamable HTTP transport (JSON-RPC 2.0, protocol 2025-03-26) over POST.

curl -sS -X POST https://carlosrivera.im/.well-known/mcp \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -H 'Accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
  -d '{
    "jsonrpc": "2.0",
    "id": 1,
    "method": "initialize",
    "params": {
      "protocolVersion": "2025-03-26",
      "capabilities": {},
      "clientInfo": { "name": "agent-client", "version": "1.0.0" }
    }
  }'

Exposed MCP Tools

  • get_profile

    Retrieve Carlos Rivera's structured profile, engineering biography, companies founded or led (Meshi, Figuro, Synx), and current advisory focus.

  • list_developer_tools

    List first-party developer tools, CLIs, and MCP servers built by Carlos Rivera (@mcpwire/cli / MCPWire, Folio, Panas, Ocelo, Belio, bicio) including when-to-use guidance and invocation commands.

  • search_essays

    Search Carlos Rivera's technical essays and startup writing in English or Spanish by keyword or tag.

  • get_essay

    Retrieve the full Markdown text and metadata of a specific essay by its slug.

  • get_contact_and_engagement_info

    Return verified contact channels ([email protected]), GitHub organizations, and scope for fractional CTO and technical advisory engagements.

2. MCPWire CLI (@mcpwire/cli)

Published by the MCPWire organization on npm as @mcpwire/cli (mcpwire.co). Use it when an agent on one machine needs to invoke local MCP tools hosted on another machine over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection without opening ports or copying secret environment variables.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mcpwire-peer": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@mcpwire/cli", "connect", "<SESSION_TICKET>"]
    }
  }
}

3. Folio MCP Server (Markdown-to-PDF Publisher)

Folio (github.com/carlosrivera/folio) provides an MCP server so agents can create, style, lint pagination, and export publication-grade PDFs directly from Markdown:

  • folio_list_document_types / folio_get_document_type / folio_register_document_type
  • folio_create_document / folio_customize_document
  • folio_lint_document / folio_export_pdf
  • folio_list_styles / folio_create_style / folio_duplicate_style / folio_update_style / folio_apply_style

4. Panas MCP Server (Peer-to-Peer Compute & Inference Market)

Panas exposes a peer-to-peer marketplace over MCP where agents discover idle machines, obtain signed cryptographic quotes, settle budgets in Solana USDC, and execute sandboxed Docker jobs:

  • discover_providers / get_provider
  • quote_inference / purchase_access / run_inference
  • get_balance / create_funding_intent / confirm_funding
  • get_request / cancel_request
