Carlos Rivera API & Developer Documentation

Technical reference for the APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, command-line tools (@mcpwire/cli), and machine-readable agent endpoints built by Carlos Rivera.

1. HTTP Markdown Content Negotiation API

Every page on https://carlosrivera.im supports HTTP content negotiation via Accept: text/markdown with Vary: Accept, as well as direct .md URLs for zero-boilerplate ingestion by AI agents.

# Request Markdown on the homepage via Accept header
curl -sS -L -i -H 'Accept: text/markdown' https://carlosrivera.im/

# Request static Markdown artifacts directly
curl -sS -L https://carlosrivera.im/index.md
curl -sS -L https://carlosrivera.im/docs.md
curl -sS -L https://carlosrivera.im/mcp.md

2. Public Machine-Readable Endpoints

Endpoint Format Description
/llms.txt text/plain Structured LLM directory with explicit when-to-use guidance and canonical tool links.
/llms-full.txt text/plain Full Markdown compilation of all API documentation, profile data, and technical essays.
/agent-instructions.md text/markdown Operational instructions detailing best-fit use cases and how agents should call our tools.
/.well-known/mcp application/json MCP server discovery manifest and Streamable HTTP JSON-RPC 2.0 endpoint.
/sitemap-index.xml application/xml Bilingual XML sitemap index with hreflang annotations.

3. MCPWire CLI & Encrypted P2P Proxy API (@mcpwire/cli)

MCPWire (@mcpwire/cli on npm · github.com/mcpwire) lets developers and autonomous agents share local Model Context Protocol servers across separate machines over an encrypted peer-to-peer tunnel without port forwarding or credential leakage. See the MCP Servers, CLI & SDK page (/mcp) for full configuration details.

# Install or invoke directly via npx
npx -y @mcpwire/cli --help

# Share a local MCP server over an encrypted P2P tunnel
npx -y @mcpwire/cli share --command "node ./my-mcp-server.js"

# Connect from a remote MCP client using a session ticket
npx -y @mcpwire/cli connect <session-ticket>

4. Folio Markdown-to-PDF API & MCP Tools

Folio (github.com/carlosrivera/folio) compiles Markdown documents into paginated, print-ready PDFs with vector KaTeX math and automated layout linting. Its MCP server exposes 12 tools for agents:

folio_list_document_types · folio_get_document_type · folio_register_document_type · folio_create_document · folio_customize_document · folio_lint_document · folio_export_pdf · folio_list_styles · folio_create_style · folio_duplicate_style · folio_update_style · folio_apply_style

5. Panas Peer-to-Peer Compute & Inference MCP API

Panas enables autonomous agents to discover peer compute nodes, lock in cryptographic price quotes, verify Solana USDC or zero-cost test grants, and execute workloads inside air-gapped Docker worker sandboxes over MCPWire:

discover_providers · get_provider · quote_inference · get_balance · create_funding_intent · confirm_funding · purchase_access · run_inference · get_request · cancel_request
